Wendy Watson

Managing Director & Founder

Wendy believes in the power of a great idea and its ability to transform a brand. An agency veteran, Wendy has more than two decades of experience creating award-winning campaigns that spark conversation, drive engagement and positively impact the bottom line. She has directed campaigns for the world’s most well-known companies including: Anheuser Busch, Disney, HP, Marriott, Mattel, Mercedes-Benz, MGM, Procter & Gamble and Verizon. Previously she served as Executive Vice President of global PR firm, Porter Novelli, working for the agency for 18 years. Wendy has been recognized as one of the Most Influential Woman in Strategic Communications – Los Angeles by Acquisition International (AI), named a Game Changer by Finance Monthly, and was one of PRWeek’s 40 under 40 Stars of PR. Her results-driven campaigns have been recognized by dozens of press and marketing organizations including PR Prism, PRSA, PRWeek, The Ad Club and Golden Bell Awards. She has been a speaker at the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Women in Business Forum and is a guest lecturer at UCLA Anderson School of Business, where she teaches a workshop on PR for startups.

Beverly Durham

Director, Multicultural & DEI

Beverly has more than 25 years of experience providing strategic communications counsel to several well-recognized consumer, food and non-profit brands. She is recognized for guiding organizations to a deeper understanding of who they are and how they make an impact in their community and society overall.Beverly had developed campaigns that influence behaviors through media relations, community outreach stakeholder communication, and multicultural marketing for brands such as McDonald’s, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Nike, The Muse Rooms, Wells Fargo, Procter & Gamble, Disneyland Parks, the Harlem Globetrotters, Alvin Ailey Dance Theater and Baskin Robbins. Beverly was awarded the 2016 Women of Color in Communications Circle Award for her contributions to the communications industry. She is currently serves as Program Director for ColorComm Los Angeles, Communications Chair for Los Angeles Diversity Council and a committee member for the Debbie Allen Dance Academy Capital Campaign Committee. She is the mother of a 13-year-old boy-girl twin set and spends most of her free time cheerleading at track meets, football games and gymnastics meets.

Rod Kurtz

Content Strategist

For over a decade, Rod Kurtz worked as a journalist and advocate on behalf of entrepreneurs—until finally becoming one himself. Today, he oversees advising startups and Fortune 500 companies alike, on all things content, branding, and marketing. He is also Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Venture Accelerator at UCLA Anderson. Previously, he served as Executive Editor of HuffPost Small Business, which he launched in 2011, Executive Editor of AOL Small Business, Senior Editor at Inc. and Inc.com, and Small Business Editor at BusinessWeek Online. As a longtime TV contributor, Rod has appeared on CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, Bloomberg, and The Today Show. He also speaks regularly at entrepreneurship and media events nationwide.

Danielle Dorfman

Media Strategist

Known among her peers as a media bulldog, Danielle Dorfman is a public relations professional with more than twenty-five years of experience working with some of the world’s largest consumer brands. After nearly eight years working for leading Los Angeles public relations firms and fifteen years working as a consultant, Danielle has a proven track record for generating targeted strategic recommendations, PR programs and most importantly, media results. Clients Dorfman has worked with consist of some of the nation’s most recognizable brands in the entertainment, consumer product, food and lifestyle categories including Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, The Television Academy, Amazon.com, Samsung, Sony Computer Entertainment America, Red Bull Media House, T-Mobile, Quiksilver, Le Bernardin Restaurant, Cesar Brand, and many more.

Kim Pierce

Digital Director

Kim has more than 20 years of public relations, digital marketing and content development experience. She works with leading brands and agencies across the country as well as small and start up businesses. Kim steps outside the box and identifies ways to position clients for growth. From leading journalists on a wild mangrove island wave runner tour or providing a power toothbrush to every household in Brush, Colorado, Kim creates campaigns designed to turn heads, inspire loyalty and take business to the next level. For each client, Kim identifies the greatest needs, conquers challenges and creates programs designed to directly support business objectives. She builds integrated communications programs, forges key media relationships, fine-tunes brand messaging and implements digital marketing techniques. From startups to Fortune 100 companies, Kim identifies needs and matches them with services that generate results. Before joining Clearstream, Kim managed accounts with leading agencies across the country, including Porter Novelli Los Angeles, the Zimmerman Agency and Geiger & Associates. Pierce was also the communications manager for Santa Monica Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Rob Hollander

Creative Director

Rob is an agency veteran with deep digital experience for over 25 years at such notable companies as WPP’s Grey Global Group, Ogilvy & Mather and Denstu Aegis’ Carat. He has helped global brands navigate the complex digital landscape of mobile, social, and content while driving strategic vision in an increasingly digital world where engagement and experience are paramount. With over 20 years of digital marketing, brand building and creative leadership experience, Rob has partnered with a wide range of Fortune 500 companies including adidas, Bank of America, CBS, Coca-Cola, Disney, Google, Hasbro, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes Benz and Warner Bros. Rob’s successful track record as an award-winning creative and digital strategist is based on maximizing relationships with stakeholders across the rapidly evolving digital and social landscape in order to foster more relevant engagement to create brand equity.
